VZ-52/57 take-down (work in progress)

Don't forget to show people where the cleaning kit is......

Surprised how many people dont know its there.....

Unfortunately, even though I have had at least three of them, none had the real original cleaning kit within the stock. Sometimes, there's even a piston scraping tool in it.
If one of you folks has one of these kits to spare, I'd really be happy to buy it.

I have one like it and NSP-2 IR unit that mounts on that rail. Is your rifle matching on all the numbered parts?

Yup, all matching numbers.

I thought of getting the IR unit but I didn't have the money nore the space to store the huge thing.

They only word that comes to mind is ghey!

Looks like the scope bracket is only held on with one thumbscrew.

That tends to confirm that the first generation of 7,62x45 rifles were manufactured mainly in Uhersky Brod, the conversion and complete 7,62x39 ones being made in Povasta Bystrica.
I would be curious to know how many VZ-52/57 are marked AYM.

ERRATUM!!! That text should read like this: "This should confirm that the first generation of 7,62x45 rifles were manufactured mainly in Povaska Bystrica, the conversion and complete 7,62x39 ones later being made in Uhersky Brod."
Thanks Woodbeef! :)
