VZ-52/57 take-down (work in progress)

I just happened across one in Lever Arms. It was in a sealed bag and covered in grease. Can't wait to take it to the range. :D

Does anyone know where to find an extra mag or 2 for them?

Thanks

i have a SHE rifle

i love it, but have had only two problems.
1 the top grip over the piston will workitself loose after firing a few rounds, and will sometimes fall right off.
2 i have the old 7.62x45 mag which tens to fall out :S

i am taking a trip to Slovakia next year. my uncle was in the army there and might help me find some parts.
i will post anything extra i can bring back

I just picked one up and I absolutely love it. If u can bring back some 39mm mags I'd be great. ( take them apart before bringing in Canada unpinned. )

Just picked up one of the little buggers and was wondering...this one looks like it was unissued, but the HG wood is slightly mis-colored...were they refurbed,...? This one is an SHE dated '59 and all matching...

If the numbers all match, including handguard (it's stamped on the underside) and stock, then it's all matching. AFAIK, the czechs didn't bother force matching components, they would just have different numbers.

Another thought....what distinguishes a x39mm refurb from one that was refurbed from x45mm during conversion to x39mm..??Matching parts or mis matching parts?..The finish..?

I bought mine recently for $400.00 , super great shape, which is a :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: of a deal concidering the few that I found this year were $1000 and up. Hats off to you if had one before.
