I paid $199.00 at Lever Arms back in the mid 1980's. A spare magazine was $10.00. I would have filled my basement with them if I had thought they would appreciate this much.

Actually no. They are notorious for their extractor breaking.

Oh.....I didn't think people used there's that much to wear or break parts!!! Just my assumption. What was the causes of the failure?

Corwin Arms had a few for sale a couple years ago. I grabbed a few.

I used to shoot corrosive only once a year at Blast Off at EESA. Takes a bit to clean properly so I would only do it if I was shooting a couple hundred rounds in a day. Since Blast off died, I only shoot non corrosive. Dropped 5 or 6 whitetails with mine.

Compared to the rest of the rifle the extractor is just fragil.

The only issue I have ever heard of.
