Non restricted. Expect to pay in the $400.00 range for one in nice shape.

They are absolutely a joy to shoot, and are very much ahead of the SKS as far as fit and finish go. I have one to go with my VZ58.

I've got one and it is very nice to shoot, accuracy is slightly better than my Yugo SKS.

Most of the ones that I have seen are FTR'd. Mine was, with a new barrel I presume as the bore looks like new.

The VZ52 was in 7.62 x 45 calibre, and they were mostly re-barrelled to 7.62 x 39 where they received the VZ52/57 designation.
