Vz 52 in an M14 stock

While browsing for some Vz 52/57 pictures, I came across the following example of bubba at work on a Vz 52... it's... creative:

Glue? I must say, though, it looks like quite a lot of effort was spent, and skill was certainly involved (look at the barrel shroud). However, I wonder to what end.

Some things should just be left alone. Putting in effort doesn't equal improvement.
