vz 52 stock refinish

Hey I bought a vz 52 and the stock has a lot of dents and so forth. Just wondering if I should go about refinishing the stock? I would like to keep the rifle as original as possible. Or should I just leave it alone? THanks in advance.

I would leave it alone.

Yup leave it alone. You will only hurt the value. These are good rifles and getting hard to find.

clothes iron and a wet rag. Might help the dents some and won't hurt it.

Could always copy it if you are hand with wood that way you have a brand new one without dents, while leaving the old one intact for possible resale value. Just my two cents.
