I'm interested in making a bell-shaped jungle carbine-style flash hider to fit on the muzzle of my CZ 858 tactical rifle, and I would like to know what the pitch of the threads on the barrel is.
Not sure, but as an alterative you could perhaps get a spare muzzle nut and weld your flash hider cone to it? I've been thinking along those lines (with an AR flash sppressor) but haven't actually got around to doing anything about it yet.
Took some pictures not sure if its what you are looking for or not. But here it is anyways because im bored and not at the range tonight because it keeps raining (and we have a tornado watch on)
There is a picture in Small Arms of the World (i've got the 10th addition), that shows a Vz-58 with exactly that cone flash hider installed along with bipod (that never sems to be available). Kind of like a C2 in concept.
They have this coneshaped mussleattachment for both the vz58 and the vz59machinegun. I saw it when I visited a gunshow in Praha. It differs a little in size elsewhere they look almost identical. And it's right the treads are 12.1RH
