Is there any manufacturer that makes, or can make me a cheek piece for the stock folding stock for the vz58? if it had a screw or something it probably could be adjustable, i like my Ace but i wouldn't mind trying to keep it original, and lighter. The ace does seem to raise my cheek a little to far, and when its folded doesn't allow for as easy operation to controls as the stock one. But on the other hand i cant get any cheek weld at all on the stock one. Or making one that allows for folding still. I have used the ace and i like it but it kills portability and use of controls, it also doesnt glide open or closed like the stock one does, its just a thought.

Its extremely hard to beat this in terms of portability....

I might have to rig something up like that, also the length of pull was increased with the ace, about an inch and a half, i love the look of it but the mechanism and mount and all hindered some of the movement i had with the rifle mainly my hands, not a great deal but enough for me to second guess it and worry if i was wearing gloves. And the move i think and look at some of these rifles the more i rather stay as simple as i can get.

Exclibur crossbows have optional polymer cheekpieces that can be easily grooved and channeled to accept the VZ's folding stock square sectioned shaft.
One or two locking rod holes, secured by thumbscrews, could be drilled into the cheekpad to fasten it.
PP.

i was thinking of para cord, but that is pretty inventive with the lawnmower chute.
