I'm in the same boat. I dont have every trooble you have but i have the same weird case separation that you have wih norinco cj95.
I just sent my rifle last week to north sylvia and 4 month of wait...really? That is ridiculous. I hope i wont have to wait that long to be bull####ed.

We should all (owner of csa vz-58 5.56) contact csa to make then put pressure on north sylvia

Another question: is the rifle going fully into battery when it is not firing the rounds? Charge the rifle, remove the mag, and see if the locking lugs are fully engaged.

Also, if you can strip the bolt and ensure the firing pin area is clean.

Tell me about it. I was a bit angry but being a relatively calm person I just corrected him when he said that. The dude couldnt even put a mag in the rifle. It took him honestly a few minutes before he got it. I didnt say anything except shake my head then laughed when he gave me his bull#### excuses.

I have a CSA 7.5 ETE all the time, getting fixed for 4 months and still has issue. They ask me to change ammo, only this.

I didn't ask you how to install it, I asked you who installed it. I have seen those magwells cause a lot of feeding issues, that's why I asked. Doesn't explain the light primer strikes tho unless the bolt is not fully closing. The first thing I would do is rip it off and try without it tho.

Actually North Sylva installed the one I am using right there... when I first purchased this rifle it was one of the newer ones which meant it was suppose to allow the magwell adaptor to fit.... BUT for the life of me I could not get a mag to fit when it was installed... why because it did not get milled like it was suppose to... it slipped through! \
So before I sent this rifle out I had already used the banana mags that came with this rifle and I had purchased 4 more to go with it, guess what the exact same problems were happening with them.
I will change the magwell out at the range and use the banana mags when I do my next video.

Wow. That's absolutely brutal. I had a broken gas piston in my CSA 7.62x39 subcompact (which they happily replaced, no excuses, no problems... but still, it shouldn't have happened). Mine is also finicky with magazines - I have misfeeds with some mags, and regular misfeeds if I grip it by the mag. I think the CSAs have some issues, compared to the original Cz guns...

Oh big time. The CZ works right outta rhe box despite the design of it like buddy said to me. After all the cz's I have/had I dont think I had more the a handful of jams. That to was probably due to lack of cleaning the chamber good.
Bit the CSA's have given me almost nothing but headaches. Not what u would expect f4om a 1000$ rifle.

If you tried all sorts or ammo, then it's clearly not an ammo problem

Do you know anyone else with a 58? Try to swap the bolt and see if it continues. This way you can eliminate some causes at least.

I almost have a feeling it's a chamber issue though

Y'know, I have 2 vz's and 2 CSA's... next time I go to the range, I'll try the bolts and bolt carriers from the CSA's in the Vz's, and vice-versa, and see what kind of results I get. Range report to come!!

Seen logic. I only have case separation with 5.56
223 are alright the only issue i had was perforated primer with remington match.

I have 2 CZ 858s in 7.62x39 and they have worked well so I was sorely tempted to go with the .223 version as I really like that round. Boy, am I glad I didn't buy one of those. My luck isn't usually that good. ;)

that sale was spring 2012 and they were the restricted models. As far as I heard, there were no issues with those. They all also needed machining to accept the adapter

Is this the rifle that there was an awesome sale on a few months back - somebody was "blowing them out the door"??? If it is - I think we have our answer as to why.
