vz 58 is back

Got my vz back from movie arms the other day, sent it in for a broken bolt and over gassed. The top rivet on the receiver cover was also loose and could be pulled out. I sent a note with the rifle listing all these problems. The good news they replaced the bolt and gas piston and cleaned it very well, the bad they didn't fix the receiver cover rivet. I don't want to send it back and wait another month so ill try fixing the rivet myself. Anyone have the top receiver cover rivet fall out and know how to fix it?

Might be able to just have them ship you a new top cover...

I betcha you could buy one of the surplus parts and it'd work too.

It's the detent the holds the pin in at the rear part of the reciever. Might need just a new pin or detent. I'm sure they would send you one

Did they reimburse you for shipping the rifle to them? I ask because I am still waiting to be reimbursed.

Finally got to range test my vz today after getting it back from movie arms. 70rds, three different brands of ammo, all fed, extracted and cycled well. Cases eject about half the distance now.
