You are not reading the OP closely enough. It is modified to take 5.45mm AK-74 Magazines, not 7.62x39mm AK/AKM Mags.

well u r not looking outside the box, this mod may still allow taking akm mags. open your mind.
vz58 mag well is broad enough to allow akm mags.

all I am trying to ask is if vz58 chambered in 7.62 with simmilar mag changes would eat akm mags no problem
