VZ 58 M-LOK Handguard

Op can you show us a photo of how the lower handguard mount onto the rifle? Does it use the original handguard front retainer and rear retaining pin? Any extra steps to keep it tight? Thanks

i would agree on the HG but is the optic set up worth it? the lower rail is $200, not including the mount and the upper rail.

I'd say it's worth its cost, especially if you get a full setup off the EE like I did. That said, it is relatively expensive compared to mounting an optic on a railed upper handguard, but I like having the red dot in a more conventional position.

Probably the best mount you can purchase for a vz/ak etc...

no denying it looks fantastic but best, how so? i have the CSA rail that im happy with it except its about 1/8" to the right, easily fixed with a plate.

yes, RS products are expensive but it gives us more options and thats a good thing. i too prefer a side mount as oppose to HG mount cos i can also use my scope.

Best as it is the only fully adjustable mount to centre over the bore, seat it more towards the muzzle or closer to the stock. Better locking clamp (I have personally witnessed 2 of those csa mounts shoot themselves loose), hold zero everytime disassembled. Lighter weight, better options for direct mounting of red dots etc...... list goes on and I have tried EVERY mount imaginable for the VZ rifle and this is the BEST

I just picked the handguards up from the post office today, there wasn't any extra fees so the total cost to my door was $211 CAD.

My initial impressions are very positive, this thing is solidly built and locks up tight on the receiver with no wiggle after install. I especially like that I can get my support hand grip further forward allowing me to present the rifle quicker. I also mounted a BCM foregrip and QD mount on several points without any issues. As for cons, it is a bit heavier than the plastic handguards, and the finish is a bit rough in some places. Machining marks don't bother me, but they are present.

Overall, I'd say it's definitely worth the money.

That handguard looks fantastic! Which one is it? I looked on gun docthor's website and it appears they have 3 different ones at 3 different prices but the description for all 3 is the same?

It would be nice if a Canadian business would bring these in to simplify things.

Wolverine tried to sell B&T made accessories and it didn't go well.

Granted, Czech manufacturing costs are cheaper than Swiss, but you have to hit some serious order volumes to drop the retail price in Canada low enough for us, frugality kings, buy anything.

Someone needs to step up to the plate.
