The upper and lower can work separately. I ended up putting the upper handguard on an old 858 so I could put a red dot on it.

Do you have a picture of just the lower on it?

I did a bit of research first, the only YouTube video also cut it off. Sure you don’t have an MOE handguard?

If you dont want to cut off the handguard retainer punch out the pins on the gas block. Move the gas block down the barrel and you'll have room to wiggle the retainer out of gas block.

christ sake, dont cut it!!!!!!! nothing on the barrel or the rifle has to come off. as the vid said, its not molested.

nice gun saving up funds to make this exact same set up!!!! I love the key mod handguard, I want to do it in olive drab green accents!!!
