Vz 58 magazine follower removal?

Trying to remove my follower and spring from vz mag. The rivet in the side is holding it hostage from dropping out the bottom of the mag with the spring. Anyone armacoat their own vz mags before and have any pointers? I don't Wana drill the rivet out and have a prohib device on my hands

It is not possible

only way is to remove rivet

if painting, just insert some empty casings into the mag to push the follower down and tape up the inside a bit

the spring is really hard in the mag it not a little paint that will stick it there
