Has anyone seen 20 round mags for VZ-58? A friend said some were issued to armoured units. It would make sense, as a 20 rounder would clear hatches and other confined areas easier.
 
all less then 30 round mags are modified 30 round mags......
they make 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, only seen 30 rounders in the military

exactly .....in Czech if they want to hunt with the 858 and other clones ...there is no barrel restriction but there is a round restriction

to bring them in ?? to be honest they cost 3x more then 30 rounders because of the labour involved

i figure there got to be a legal reason cos like you said the cost of producing them is super high. thanks for info.
