VZ 58 muzzle brake

I've got that slant one that corwin sells that has a ring to allow it to match the diameter of a US bayonet but you'd need to add a lug to the barrel for that. Now as for the function of the brake I find it to be the perfect amount of correction. There is still recoil but rather than back and up disturbing your sight picture it's straight back. The price is right to grab a few from those guys and try them out. I may try a bird cage style and special forces one next. Theoretically the slant brake shouldn't increase sound or gas pressure for those beside you at the range.

I agree with bfiles. I've tried quite a few and the original military brake is my favorite. I haven't tried the Czech special forces brake from corwin but I do plan on ordering one.
I do have a linear comp on my 5.56 compact that seems to work well at driving the blast/concussion down range. I had the dlask flaming pig clone. That works good too but is heavier.
Here's a couple pics of the linear comp I have on it now. I think it's an s&j hardware. I got it off the EE. This is the only muzzle device I know of that is for the 5.56 vz58. Not for use on 7.62 lol
