I am seriously worried about the arrival of short barrels for these. I will have no choice but to buy another whole gun, and a whole pile more parts.

I am convinced the Canadian VZ parts manufacturing conspiracy exists primarily as a wing of the Coalition for Gun Control, with the aim of bankrupting Canadian gun owners.

Just buy a CZ 858 now...and play with it, while you wait for the aftermarket, short, bull barrels to arrive.
