VZ 58 side optic mount questions

I noticed there are one piece ones that bolt right to the reciever and there are two piece ones out there that bolt one piece to the reciever and the other piece locks onto the first piece. My questions are, is any one mount better then the other? Will both have a return to zero for the optic if the mount is removed? Does one sit lower then the other? Is there enough room for either one to use iron sights as a redundacy?

Thanks for the heads up.

Here are the examples im talking about:

One piece

Two piece

...and to add to the questions:

The bolt on one piece, does it interfere with take down for cleaning...and need to be unbolted for that?

Also, if you buy just the base, you can add RS regulate mount (2 piece mount in itself).

top part for RS Regulate mount can be optionally either for ACOG or aimpoint, which will give you the lowest LOS over bore possible on VZ.

Can't speak for the one piece, but the base u linked from Zahal is just that.... A base, going this route would still require you to purchase a side mount or side mount optic that is either SVD or universal format. This all adds up fast, but the 2 peice setups are definitely slick. They hold zero, usually allow a clear view of the irons and allow u to detach/reattach the optic for whatever the reason in seconds.

Well worth the money IMO for any Combloc gun

The Zahal link has both. At least when I open the link up it does. Both for 160$.

I personally recommend using the receiver rail attachment along with an RS Regulate setup. Its the lightest, lowest and "nicest" system for mounting optics on an AK or Vz58. If youre putting a red dot on there, it will co witness.
They hold zero
