So I really dislike the folding wire stock on my VZ-58 and would like to replace it. I really like the idea of an AR style stock, but from some of what I read getting a sight picture with the iron sights with a AR inline stock is somewhat difficult. How true is this? I was trying to decide between a NEA adapter or rauch tactical, but I've seen that on some CSA rifles that already come with an AR style stock that the stock is canted slightly downward. What kind of stock adapters does CSA use? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I already checked out the stickies above but it doesn't seem to completely answer my question.

Stormwerz straight AR adapter.

Fab defence mainly comes with a slightly canted down AR stock. Well pops now has my CSA with Stormwerz adapter and a Ergo F93 stock. Its much better feel then his Fab Defence on his VZ58. I always ran the straight adapters.

Awesome, I think that's what I'm looking for! Still trying to decide between straight stock adapter or angled. I'd like to be able to use the iron sights but I do plan on putting an optic on as well. Haven't decided how I'm going to do that yet though.

I remember you had a AR stock on the VZ-58 you had, was that an angled or straight stock?

I suppose that would give you the ability of having the straight looking stock with a height that works with the iron sights comfortably?

Yes! Exactly! I've owned/still own almost every stock adapter for the vz58. The Rauch is the nicest. For an AR tube and stock.
I have the fab defense metal folder AR stock. It's very rugged. But has the angle to it. I use it on my vz58 with NEA handguards and a trs-25 which gives me a lower 1/3 cowitness with irons. I really like this setup.
The Rauch is definitely the easiest to adapt to irons then optics.

Perfect. Looks like I found exactly what I was looking for. I like the look of the straight stock but I wanted to be able to use Irons comfortably. Thanks!
