I like the wood on this one, looks quality. Can't say the same for the mount though.

Why is it that all the sites with all the good 58/858 stuff are all written in czech? Translation, PLEASE :D

Might have something to do with it being a Czech rifle.

I know, but I want more info!!!!!!!!! I need a translation, and the web-based translator I used only got about HALF the words. Three more got the same result.

translation of the main paragraph on http://zbrane.webz.cz/1.html

The Stock frame is composed of a solid core encompased with chery woodThe Stock frame is composed of a hardwood solid core encompassed with cherry wood. The stock is 7cm longer and has and rubber recoil absorber. The forehand grip and gas piston cover are made from walnut wood and are wider for a better grip. The firearms also have their gray finish removed by sandblasting and are refinished with a black finish. The bolt carrier is polished and the custom muzzle brake allows for a more accurate shot not as much by minimizing muzzle rise and recoil but rather calming the projectile as it leaves the barrel.

These stocks are custom made so they have to be ordered ahead of time. The cost is about 200 dollars. I have ordered a set for myself. I have relative that lives not too far from Peter’s (Gunsmith) town and he will be picking it up for me. I’m sure I can order a couple of more should anyone be interested as well as other variation. (blonde furniture)
