Do you mean the inside of the barrel will be shiny? Aren't they always? (seriously, not trying to be sarcastic)

Not exactly. A chrome lined bore picks up the light differently than a non-chromed bore, it reflects much better. If you have an SKS with a chrome lined bore, compare it to a rifle that doesn't and you'll see what I mean.

Look for the 858 - CZH 2003 they were NR chrome lined but I also understand they were headed for prohib because of the way they were converted to semi
