Well, do not shoot it. Send it back and get them to send you a rifle that will work. Looks like someone was asleep at the QA/QC wheel in the Czech Republic!

no test target? thats odd , is this an isolated case or common?

yes, according to your pic your ammo sticks out a bit too far , i wonder if the surplus ammo do the same.

I didn't get a test target with mine, and I'm still waiting for a replacement because it was scratched to hell when I got it. Some parts looked used as well. You are not alone with your troubles.

I spoke to Marstar, they've haven't had heard of any problems like that with the VZ. So i'll be sending it back for repair or exchange.

Hopefully it won't take too long, they don't have any in stock.
