Got my first CZ58 here today from a weapons cache. Pretty good condition, the paint holds up better than the finish on AKs. It didn't come with any mags (inconsiderate insurgents!), but I found a mag for one about a year ago, held onto it until now in hopes one day a 58 would cross my path...

it has a very pronounced rib on the back, VZ mag.

the only shorter ones that I've seen are 9 mm conversions....very rare but I don't see why they can't be made even shorter with the proper mods.

Have you fired any of these short VZs yet? How is the accuracy?

So to clean the gas tube, it looks like you need to remove this tactical rail handguard- correct? That would make holding zero kind of difficult wouldn't it. I'm referring to the handguard at the top of the page for $299.
