What is the story on that rifle?

On a completely different subject, I contacted Czechpoint USA about buying one of their bolt carriers that has the welded tab ....
...They said that they won't sell outside of the US. Too bad as that takes care of the VZ gremlin 100%.
Obiwanbonjovi was thinking of making them but apparently he was told that the welded tab is a patented repair mod and he has given up the idea.
How can someone patent a welded piece of metal that is attached onto an already patented device?
And if they aren't willing to sell them to us, can't we make our own overhere?
Who has a MIG or TIG welder and wants to get on this?
I had a friend from Texas order one from "Czechpoint USA" and i compared it to mine (cz 858) that never gave me the gremlin except when 'Wendel' shot. See pic below. (Left is from Czechpoint USA, right is from my CZ858)
apparently the carriers they are selling are not tabbed. He will be updating picture shortly, to reflect that the carriers are straight out of parts kits. I suppose I can work on tabbing some carriers for some of my favorite cgners.

are all the VZ58 sold in the US has the tab in the carrier (excluding the kit) ?
are the tabs installed in the US or in czech ?
those in the US that uses the carrier without the tab experience any gremlin or is it too early to say ?
All of the rifles made b d-technik have the tab they are imported with it. All other rifles are parts kit builds and do no have tab unless the gunsmith that builds it adds one.
I built one that had the gremlin, that is how I was able to diagnose the problem, I have heard reports of one other that had it, however most of the non imported rifles are just beginning their life.

I might be wrong, but that seems to be a BFD (blank firing device),
and maybe the pic was taken during training/exercises.
The BFD gives the noobs the feeling of the real recoil
when firing blank cartridges,
and in the case of the gas-op'd guns,
it cycles the action when using blanks.
If the hole is properly dimensioned,
it works with blanks even in FA mode (on FA guns of course).
If the hole is not properly dimensioned,
sometimes, on some SA guns,
causes a funny un-intentional FA with blanks
since the bolt is short stroking.
