after a couple thousand rounds neither my ruskie sks or cz has had any issues, but i also clean/lube all the easily accessible parts after every time out and do a full dissasembly and cleaning every couple hundred rounds that go through the guns
there are many threads/posts on here of guys who have problems with thier rifles due to maintenance not being done
its simple to me, every time you shoot its a controlled explosion, and be dammed if i aint gonna be carefull with something that can end life as you know it
a simple 5min after shooting will clean most of the gun up, and 15min for a good scrubbing and cleaning everything like the firing pin, simple and may just save your face/life
If i were a god fearing man i would thank him for providing me with centre-fire ammunition at less that 20cents a pop
Now the question is...
do you know were this part goes?
yup right about where there is a large chunk of steel permanently affixed to my reciever, it takes me alot longer to make an aimed shot than it does for my finger to pull the trigger on a second shot, so i wouldnt use it if i could, but ya i would definitly have it in their if it was legal just to point at the F (fun) setting and say "it can do that"
