vz/cz 858 non-restricted-chrome barreled

I noticed that wolverine was selling these then went into back order.... do you know any others who are selling the long cz858/csa (non restricted) which are chrome lined?

Thanks.

as klenzer said there is no non-res that has chrome bore except for the marstar VZ58L which are nolonger available.

however, i do see wolverine site says their 5.56 non-res and res are chrome but it could be a typo or maybe something new coming in that i wasnt aware of .

What makes a chrome lined barrel better that a barrel that is not chrome lined ?

Greatly improved wear and corrosion resistance, they're also more slick, which aids extraction and feeding somewhat. Lastly they're easier to clean.

A chrome lined barrel does not have much to do with extraction. It's the chamber that matters. Not sure if any of the Vz variants have a chromed chamber or not.

They appear to, and I haven't heard of too many firearms with chromed barrels that didn't also have the chamber lined as a matter of course.

NOTE : Chrome lined barrels are used barrels on Chech Small Arms products and as such the barrel may be suspect to imperfections .
Although you have better corrosion resistance opposed to non chrome lined , you still have to clean up in the same manner when shooting corrosive ammo .
Better to buy the real thing the CZ 858 TACTICAL you will get a brand new barrel and all parts the reciever etc. are genuine military surplus also the coating on the firearm is superior in wear resistance to anything out there .
