VZ/CZ Gremlin Poll

Have you experienced the FTF reset problems with your rifle?

I have an 858 T2 with about 700 rounds through it and no gremlin.

i have a 858-2, fired at least 2000 rounds in 3 months and no gremelin!
i clean my rifle afther each range trip and i keep it oiled.

Yeah, but then it falls down the page and gets lost. Doesn't hurt to give it a try though.

I must say I'm stunned at the frequency of the the problem. 10 out of 35 rifles with the issue. That's seriously ####ty performance.

Yeah, that's pretty bad. I had no problems with mine.

I doubt that everyone who voted yes has a frequent problem. I would vote yes on one or 2 failure to cocks. It does seem stunningly frequent though. Doesnt anyone in canada have welding skills, it seems someone should pick up the slack here.

Someone should post a link to this thread in gunsmithing forum. A gunsmith could make some loot offering a gremlin fix and left side charging handle package

Stevo, can you add a "I don't own a VZ yet..." choice to the poll? Otherwise, guys can't see the poll results without voting for some other "choice" and skewing the poll results...

Never a problem with mine. There are a couple Canadians looking to offer the bolt carriers but it will take time.

Frequent problem or not, it's still a problem that should not be acceptable on a new rifle. I can't believe that owners haven't kicked up a bigger fuss with the dealers and got the manufacturers to sort it out.

858-2, no problems whatsoever. Low rd count though. (less than 400 rds when I sold, but now I'm going to end up buying another one)

I own a VZ58L and have had no problems with it what so ever. Great gun and pretty darn accurate too

i only submitted one , no problem . still trying to get the gremlin on another , will know for sure in a couple of range visits .

my 858-2 has the gremlin, doesnt always do it though, had another guy shoot it and all 20 rounds of the 4 mags went bang.
