What kind of scope mount do you have there and where did u get it? Been wanting to put some optics on mine, but haven't heard great things about the dust cover versions (lose zero). Looks like a SPARC II if I'm not mistaken?

This is a CZ scout mount that I picked up from a local gun shop in Edmonton. Wild West shooting Center to be exact.

question about the muzzle break. i was at that WWS centre recently and saw the cz 858 breaks there for $50. they had a csa 58 there and i asked the... "special" lady there to try it on the csa which was 7.62x39. she couldnt get it to fit.

is that the same one from that store? I was looking for a break and i dont particularly like throwing money through the internet if I don't need to.

I made minor changes to the VZ58 as I purchased it used from a fellow CGN'r. The muzzle break came with the vz. They have a few muzzle breaks at WWSC that I know of and from the last time I checked they had the same muzzle break.

You'll be popular with the guy in the next lane at the range..

+1. I have the 11.8" vz58 carbine with the same brake. It is ok to shoot, but fairly brutal on the guy beside me. That is on an outdoor range, I imagine it would really be something indoors. The 7.5" should be even more impressive in the fireball and concussion departments.

Looks sweet bro!! Love my shorty vz58! Loud!!! The muzzle brake I'm running helps direct blast down range. I had to go to a straight or inline stock to get a high enough cheek weld for red dot. Haven't had a chance to trim the end off that mount yet. Should make it look better
