Vz/cz858 lower hand guard pin??

Hi guys.

I am trying to fix up a beat up cz858. It is missing the lower handguard and the handguard retaining pin.
I already sourced a handguard but I have no idea where to get the pin from. Any ideas?

Do you Ebay? Plenty of those pins on there. This one doesn't list shipping to Canada but a quick email to the seller should remedy that. I've bought plenty of VZ58 parts from Europe without any issues.

I replaced mine with a long metric hex machine screw.
When I replaced the original hand guards with NEA hand guard original pins would loosen and fall out in the gun case. The machine screws hold much better and IMO look better.

Use a roll pin, if I remember correctly it's 3/16 x 1 1/4. and you just need to grind it down a bit(length).

Get the right roll pin, cut to size. Better than the factory part, cost ya 25 cents!
