I was seeking your opinions on price of a vz52 I have for sale that is just not selling and I was wondering if my price was the problem? I started at $850 shipped and I am now after many months at $600 shipped and I am just not getting any traffic. The gun is in good condition, 1955 and not matching.

I was under the impression that $600 shipped was super cheap, what say you?

Ammo is the problem .
I have one of these rifles also (not looking to sell it)
7.62X45 is not easy to come by .
So not a gun that is going to see a lot of trigger time
More of a collector wall hanger .So that cut's out a lot of potential buyers .
I have about 300 rnds for mine . Also a 7.62X39 chamber insert which I'm sure would not last long if installed

400-700$ to me is a fair region for a VZ52. As mentioned the ammo is the issue, and not a ton of people like buying guns they will struggle to shoot (it isn't even a easy caliber to reform from other brass as the brass you can use is either 220 Swift, 6.5 Carcano, or 6.5 MS, likely 7.35 Carcano would work as well but that is even harder to find). Custom dies would be required as well which adds another significant cost to the rifle.

Basically to make 100rds you would need to expend at least 200-300$ for the initial batch. After you have the dies it becomes cheaper but the cost is still high.
