VZ58 18" barrel gas block size

Hi all
Im in the States, and am building a VZ58 with a 20" barrel
and need the 18" barrel gas port size.
Yes the Canadian market 18" version got me wanting one
but the barrel is not available in the States so im building
one. Im about to the point of drilling the gas port and thought
the 18" would be a good point of referance to start with.

the 7/64" drill bit went tru the hole but the 1/8" bit got stuck so somewhere between the two .

Thats the same as my 15" barrel I guess they didnt change the size
for the 18" barrel

Only shorties need a larger vent whole for greater bleed off preasure. Actually our long barrels (19 inch) and medium barrel (16 inch) rifles are excatly the same except for the barrel length.

This thread makes me want to measure my 11.75" model....I'll post back when I do.
