I hope you guys can see these pictures, I'll try and figure out how if you can't.

For anyone who installed the .223 magwell adapter:

have you guys noticed if the magazine catch/retaining arm (or whatever its called) on the opposite side of the mag release button (left side), is swinging downwards//coming out of place of the magwell body itself, when you push the mag release button in/change mags? This happens if I press the mag release button in all the way. Nothing falls apart and away from the gun, but the arm itself simply flops down, becoming unseated, and I have to flick with back into place. If someone were to change mags under relative stress, or quickly, etc. this could happen a lot (mag retaining arm coming loose and sliding downward not letting you insert and retain a new magazine)

Maybe I installed it incorrectly? Any help would be appreciated guys! (or simply train to not press the button fully inward? maybe the spring is seated incorrectly or its too long?)

The mag catch is adjustable for tension and travel limit. If you push the catch button in as far as you can (so that the catch bar pops out of it's slot as shown in your pic), then turn the catch bar clockwise so it screws into the catch button further. This will increase the tension on the mag release, and at the same time limit its overall travel. You can effectively adjust it to the point where when you push on the catch release button so that the top of the button is level with the mag housing, the catch bar won't pop out of it's slot.

push it and rotate clock wise till it stops, do not force it anymore beyond that point.
