No "vz58" pistols are available in Canada, and as such these are not permitted.

Sorry guys. It has been made very clear to us that these cannot be sold to Canadians yet.

If you have a Vz-58 pistol with an FRT number, we would be delighted to sell you a magazine for it.

But until then, these are Czech and USA only

There are NO vz58 pistols in Canada... Until these mags are cleared with the authorities, anyone trying to import or god forbid, using one... Well, lets just say it's a grey area...

CGN's policy is; Until a letter from the RCMP confirms the legality of such magazine, it won't be allowed at CGN.

P.S. That being said, the company who does get this cleared, Zahal for example, WILL MAKE ALOT OF $$$!!! THIS Canadian will buy them once cleared!!!

I believe such a pistol does exist, but is not (yet) "commonly available in Canada".

When the pistol has an FRT # and is "commonly available in Canada", I will be buying about 5 of those pistol magazines!!!!!

I saw it. It's a CSA 11.8" with the stock permanently removed and a sling loop on the butt end.

You'd think the 7.5" would be a better candidate, but whatever.

Somebody better get on this, like last year.

Even the 11.8" with no buttstock fits in the pistol class so its all good. So...North Sylva...when? Like huge huge market... tons of revenue... uncontrollable sales volume... sold out immediately... when?

In the US they permanently remove the butt stock from short barreled carbines and sell them as pistols, because it avoids the transfer tax ($200) that applies to rifles with a barrel shorter than 16 inches. I think the ultra short barrel Vz's could be sold as pistols in Canada. 10 round pistol mags must also be a different over all length than any available for a rifle.

Here's an idea for the dealers... Sell the VZ pistol AT COST to 50 lucky CGN'ers & legitimize the pistol as 'commonly available' here in Canada...

yuck! a vz with a 10 round mag? that would look disgusting, just like an AR with a 10 round mag that you almost need your finger nails to get it out. f-that, I'm way to shallow and love the look of a nice banana mag- even at a sh1tty 5 rounds.

Unlike an AR though, the mag doesn't disappear into a mag well. I'd be very happy with ten round pistol mags to go with my neutered 30 rounders.
