VZ58 bolt assembly - because of broken firing pin

I broke the firing pin on my VZ58. Ive been trying to strip the bolt assembly to remove the broken firing pin and it's just been a nightmare.

I found a video showing how to do it. All he says is compress the spring and the extractor will just fall off. We'll it doesn't

Im at the point that I just want to get a new complete bolt assembly and replace the one I have (unless someone has a genius idea on how to strip it).

So my question is does anyone have a bolt assembly that they want to part with ? Or does anyone have any better ideas on how to strip the bolt ?

Keep trying.
Press it in a try shaking the bolt at the same time. Probably all gunked up and sticking in there

I had this happened to me as well. Take a step back and cool off for a while to vent the frustration. It WILL come out and patience is required!

Do you already have a new firing pin? If you don't, you could let a company like Wolverine do it, and charge you part + labour.

It's difficult, it took me forever to take the bolt apart and I almost thought it wasn't possible.

Also, watch a couple of different videos of the same thing. Just because one guy posts on Youtube doesn't make it the best method.
