Vz58 compacts. Where did they go?

Grrr since I have been off all week recovering from surgery it has given me plenty of time to search high and low. I have found about 2 dozen .223 guns ranging from $880-$1225. All new and unfired but not a single 7.62. What are you guys takes on the lar mag adaptor? I seem to remember something about having to get the receivers milled on the older ones.

That's because I ordered it Monday! The same day armco posted a used one, including goodies. Now I did not know you could use the mag adaptor on 7.62 guns. I am assuming 10round mags of some sort. Anyone have details or a link to a thread I can't find?

I should note. I called many stores and many checked with Their suppliers. I found a non sponsor who could get one from a distributor. 6 week wait time and now going for $1250

Wanstall's had one way back for $899, I am so regretting passing on it! It's one of those things that you say to yourself meh, those will be around whenever I want one...

On another note, I always thought these shorty's would look great with a PDW stock (not that you'd need the buffer tube, but just for the cool factor.) Has anyone ever tried this with an AR stock adapter? Is there enough clearance?
