I guess this means I can sell mine on the EE for $2000!
$1500 VZ58, no thanks. What a ripoff, but you guys will eat it up because it 'sorta looks like an AK'.
How about real estate. My house went up 36%.....
Ya, there's alot of that going on. When I can buy a new Sauer 100 or higher end Remington 700 for less a VZ58, something is wrong. Or another 500$ for a Mark V? Completely different rifles, I know, but there is absolutely no comparison in quality or build cost.
I just heard it from my old friend that works from waffen schumacher in Germany that CSA boss was really complaining to his boss about slow sales of his guns in Canada. Apparently CSA charges around 450 euro per gun but guns are over inflated in distribution chain in Canada. From what he heard CSA was really dissatisfied with their arrangement in Canada
Someone in the Cdn. chain of things is gouging. I'm going with that until I see evidence to the contrary. This type of increase is getting very unreasonable.
These rifles are starting to become not worth it ..
I have not seen increases of 20+% year over year on food.
Are you sure about that? Roma Tomatos were 70 cents a pound. Not they're $1.50 a pound and this is just from last year. A pack of white mushrooms was $1.50. Now they're $2.20. A pack of Red Rooster Ramen Noodles was 20 cents each. Now they're 35 cents each. A loaf of bread was 99 cents. Now they're $1.75 each. These are just some examples. Every food item across the board had gone up 20 - 40% since last year. @#$% even the $10 packs of chicken, they have one less chicken thigh in it now and the smokehouse campfire bacon went from $2.99 a pack to $4.99 a pack. The $10 bags of prawns... they don't even offer that anymore.
