Vz58/CZ858 .22LR rimfire conversion

Maybe if you permanently made sure it could not be converted back to 7.62x39 but I doubt it.

Why? You are required to report a change in caliber within 30 days, I don't think it says anything about permanent.

Here are the prices http ://www .puskar.cz/prestashop/product.php?id_product=10

Wolverine Mentioned this a few years ago.

I remember that they had a post but couldn't find it. If they could get a batch for NR 858's I would be in.

Here is their reply to my letter:

thank you very much for your interrest! I'm sorry, we actually do not ship outside of Czech Republic. However we are in touch with Canadian, Israel and USA CZ rifles distributor and hopefully we will negotiate conditions soon. Please be patient, I'll let you know as soon as we find a way, how to distribute our Ogar.22 (The Conversion Kit brand name) to your Country (I assume USA?). The adapter is in production now. We have finished all production operations and now awaiting first pieces comming out of our factory. Few Kits have been sold within Czech Republic and based on positive feedback (and interest worldwide) we expect first mass bundle will not be enough for the market... However we will do our best to produce enough Kits soon...

Moreover we are finishing a .22 conversion kit for SA vz 61...

Best regards,

David.

So if this conversion was made permanent to 858 with a short barrel taht would make in non-restricted..........Hmmmm

I can't see why this wouldn't be the case. It would be worth owning a restricted model for me then....
