Hey there, I have a VZ58 in .223. Love the gun! I am the second owner and I have put quite a few round though it, shows almost zero wear. I read that some folks have problems with soft receivers. This one looks good.
However, I recently broke a firing pin, no big deal, but the piece went sideways inside the bolt and kind of deformed the pin hole in the bolt face very slightly. Enough to make me think that I will change it.
Do I need a gunsmith to check head space if I get a new bolt or can I just drop it in?
Thanks!
Edit: Also just read in another thread about if you gun throws brass 4-5 meters that it may need a fix to prevent damage. Mine throws brass a ways all right. How do I get the fix? I am not the first owner.
