VZ58 in 7.62x51 is possible if there is enough interest.

I still desire this rifle!

I counted at least 250 people who said they would want the rifle. I know it takes a lot to tool up for a manufacture, but considering how well the 7.62x39 rifles do as well as the 5.56 rifles, that 250 probably increases to at least 500 people a year once advertising for the rifles gets started. Don't forget the people like me and other who have multiple VZ pattern rifles. A 7.62x51 with a 20" barrel, 18.5", and maybe an 11.8" SBR, and if the manufacturer decided to thread the receiver instead of pressing the barrels think of the calibre's you could have based of the .308 cartridge? .260, 7mm-08, .338 fed, .358 win, .243 and any number of wildcats based off the cartridge. It is a guaranteed money maker for the dealers and manufacture as I'm sure people would love one to hunt with and one they can hunt multiple animals with... .260 deer, .358 moose etc. and if the .45 Raptor ever makes it to Canada you can throw T-Rex on that list too :p

north has not writen in here in a long time. they may have given up.
or they have something going and they dont want to get our hopes up.

This thread is hilarious. Starts out as a simple rifle in one caliber then goes off into being made into I think I counted 7 different calibers 9 different mag types and my favorite a 12 gauge version.

Then we ask hey where did north Sylvia go?

Good show I enjoyed it.

Hahahahaha

I don't think this project will be happening in the near future.

It's still being look at, but would likely still be a year or two away.

Thanks,

Jon
