I still desire this rifle!
I counted at least 250 people who said they would want the rifle. I know it takes a lot to tool up for a manufacture, but considering how well the 7.62x39 rifles do as well as the 5.56 rifles, that 250 probably increases to at least 500 people a year once advertising for the rifles gets started. Don't forget the people like me and other who have multiple VZ pattern rifles. A 7.62x51 with a 20" barrel, 18.5", and maybe an 11.8" SBR, and if the manufacturer decided to thread the receiver instead of pressing the barrels think of the calibre's you could have based of the .308 cartridge? .260, 7mm-08, .338 fed, .358 win, .243 and any number of wildcats based off the cartridge. It is a guaranteed money maker for the dealers and manufacture as I'm sure people would love one to hunt with and one they can hunt multiple animals with... .260 deer, .358 moose etc. and if the .45 Raptor ever makes it to Canada you can throw T-Rex on that list too
