vz58 mags

just picked up a vz58. it came with 2 plastic mags just woundering if you can buy them in metal and the caliber is .223 or 5.54

None available in Canada right now (afaik, I tried to find some but couldn't, and spoke to few dealers that said none were imported at the moment). Right now your best bet is CSA's gen2 AR magwell adapter or B&T's when they come out (should be right around the corner of the new year) so you can use AR mags instead (10 rounds LAR-15 ).
However, if your serial is #5600089C & before, you'll need to have some machining done for any of the adapters to fit...

There's the gen1 currently available at a couple of dealers. IMO, I prefer the look of the new one and they say it'll be better.

Just for the 7.62 version. I believe the 5.56 version is good to go....
