i agree with his recommendation .

i always put alot of grease on this tab to minimize wear .

It's already done, cleaned and reassembled.. )

hows it work now when you dry fire it?

After the jam, before the modification, there was a slight "catch" about half-way when charging the bolt

Now, no catch and no jam during function check- it works great.

BTW, I also polished/filed the rail where the picture showed the indentation.
