VZ58 owners...

With the tube style muzzle brake, how tight are you supposed to get it once its threaded on?

I find that its doesn't completely tighten up, and has some wobble to it? Any thoughts?

Thanks.

A little wobble wont harm anything. If you are concerned, shim it with a spacer buffhuntr
so it tightens up. As Deckard said a pin will lock it into place.

Mine was loose enough that I had concerns about bullets striking the interior.

I carefully measured how much material needed to be removed to allow it to fully snug-up and have the locking pin engaged, then had my gunsmith turn it down by a bit less. I did final fitting using a sharpening stone to grind off a small amount of additional material (~0.0005"), then reblued the end.

It now fits perfectly, but only on one of my VZ-58s...

Hey I had a simular problem with mine. They are very hard to get on without applying some teflon oil first. Screw the brake on unil you can no longer do this by hand. Then get an old rounded screw driver that will fit the two end side holes ( gas vents) and then holding the rifle between your knees twist the brake until you hear a click. Next time you remove the brake to clean your rifle it will unthread via the screw driver. You must have the brake on all the way.
