vz58 on TV

not sure if this has been posted before but saw this on Strike Back and figured it was kind of cool. Since season 2 they have been using the vz58 fairly consistently, with CSA vz58 making an appearance in the latest episode

Yep, that's why in Lord Of War they used a wear house filled with Vz 58's in a movie scene since no one in the general public would realize that was a wear house with 40,000 Vz 58's not 40,000 AKM's. Apparently those were the only real functional guns in the whole movie well the rest were props.

Why does the one guy look like he's trying not to s**t himself in every picture? And yeah, that suppressor has some serious design flaws. Like firing blanks through it he he. I wish Hollywood would come around and make muzzle flash realistic. They're doing well with a lot of things but watching giant flames spewing out of a rifle with no perceived recoil to the shooter and no muzzle flip... I still haven't caught an episode of this show but it looks good from what I've seen. Is the first season out on DVD yet?

Season 2 episode 7 is what you want for 58's .. About 30 min in they are prominent. .. Not their usual equipment .. Thay picked these up in that epsiode .. Installed silencers .. major action at about 39 min mark ..
