vz58 Peep sights

Just wondering if anyone tried mounting a peep sight over the receiver cover?
I was thinking one of the lyman sights for the sks might work. The kind that you need to d&t the side of the receiver.

kind of off topic but out of sheer boredom today i cut a slot length wise down the middle of the cantilever mount, installed two tritium vials on both sides of the slot and then installed an NEA fiber sight at its tallest height on the front sight base. works pretty good, enough that we are thinking of making it an optional feature on future cantilever mounts.
