Just curious if anyone know were to get replacement parts for the VZ58 in Canada? :?: I am just curious.. My VZ58 doesn't need fixing yet.

really? Numrich .. Seriously who has just parts, not complete rifle for fixing purposes. geeze..
Ya I like to actionshoot  with my VZ58 cause it is fun!

mag changes? what you mean? :? :?:

If you mean that changing mags is difficult with the mag release. it isn't and you can reload the mag in 1 sec by using the built in mag charger on the rifle. This is what makes the VZ58 so excellent in a combat situation.
I can either remove the mag (which is easy with minimal practise) and or charge it instantly. You don't own one of these do you? :? :(

With the AR it is a straight push.As far as I know,do you not have to rock it into place? I really want a VZ58.If I can use it for three gun I would like that very much!!

CZ58 isn't what I was looking for Hitzy. did you even look? LOL.
now getting back on topic does Marstar offer replacement parts? I will phone them tommorrow to ask but rather save a phone call.. :x
It is just nice to know for resoures sake were you can get parts for the (just in case scenario) :(

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you guys that the muzzle is threaded the same as Swedish mausers (m96/m38) and numrich has flashiders for the swedes.....
They look like a long A1 flashider, you would have to file a notch for the pin to fit and open it up to .30 cal......

VZ 58 = CZ 858

I was searching for VZ58 not CZ58, silly Americans.
Go figure

Sa vz. 58 was originally produced for CSLA - czechoslovak army. Now they are for sale from army warehouses and they are changed to semiauto.

CZ 858 is almost the same system but frame and receiver are newly designed and manufactured for civilian purposes and semiauto fire but 90% of other parts is the same, because they are produced from old spare parts from CZ warehouses and now maybe there are also some new parts that are made on original machines.
