VZ58 Trigger Job

Ahhh i just figured for someone who wants good advise him self maybe he would give some. Again i see i hurt your feeling and im sorry. i take back my "hater" comment.

Yep im so soft my nick name at work is мягкий.
Apology accepted !
BTW Google translate is not your friend, always missing the context.
Cheers

These people are not haters. They simply lack the understanding of what a good trigger can do and the skill to take advantage of it, even in a "3 moa" rifle. Nothing wrong with that, each of us uses our guns in a different manner and as long as it works for them it doesn't matter.

I just grab a better gun with a better trigger if I want to print groups. Nothing to do with lack of understanding. I just think a CZ is best left untouched and using it as intended is more fun.

I have done quite an extensive trigger job on my SKS heck that 45 minute SKS trigger job video is on my personal Youtube page, lol... at the end of the day it's still a minutes of bad guy rifle.

I like mine more with the trigger job. I get better groups now and can appreciate the smoother trigger but it most certainly isn't a rifle for tight groups, you're right there. I have my .308 700 for that :p

I'm with you on the SKS trigger. I've gone as far as to purchase an uncut milsurp sear and file it myself. The trigger didn't get any better it just started to suck less haha

Be careful. He isn't afraid to use his caps key!

Sorry I did not mean to scare you by using caps key. I guess you did not know that they exist on your keyboard. You can educate yourself on why and how they are used. Read a book or magazine and you will see they are not that scary.
Cheers and good luck.

Lol. Don't let that extra chromosome get you down buddy. Cheers.

So much fail in the bickering. Alot of guys want to maximize the potential of their rifles be it an SKS or a 858 / 58. I like mine. I don't try to make it a precision shooter but if there is a DIY fix or assist, why bother chitting all over it. FSB I believe you posted that your accuracy improved when you went off the red dot right? Strelok was kind enough to provide a montage of what he did for a cost of $0. So now we are left with one useful post and a bunch of people arguing over who is more Mongoloid than their neighbour despite the fact we all own guns!

^^^^ you are spot on sir ^^^^^
Everyone can modify/improve their guns the way they like or see beneficial to the way they use them.
We all have our ideas and opinions, but everyone decides what is right for him and his goals.
I've got carried away in pointless bickering and apologise to anyone who felt offended by my posts.
Cheers!

*Apologize. Maybe you should do some research on Canadian English. Cheers!

I believe the VZ is one of the apex rifle designs. I don't know what they are talking about 3-4 inch groups at best, I've done well under 3 inches at 100 yards and I've seen others do well under 2 inches (5 shot groups). Look at the after market industry of the VZ, it is clearly a system well worth investing in. Strelok was kind enough to share his method for improving the trigger and I appreciate. I don't consider what I'm doing bickering, merely busting the balls of a sour puss troll who's contributions to the thread are salty and non-useful.

I've printed great groups as well. But You dont judge MOA on a couple good groups. Overall it's a 3 MOA gun and Im happy with that.

I don't buy into that, it's under 3 for myself and 2 with skilled shooters. I bet if the trigger wasn't so long and mushy certain guys could probably come close to the groups of that new IMI 7.62*39 Galil.

No problem, glad you found it useful. I'm sure it voids the warranty but it doesn't bother me because it's through North Sylva which is an awful company to deal with.

I've shot a few hundred rounds after the mod without a single issue.

Do you feel like your groups have improved since ur trigger mod Strel?

So you're telling me you CZ can print 10 groups back to back on the same paper of 2 inches or less ? Thats what I would call a keeper

Unfortunately mine won't do such a thing. And frankly I dont care since printing groups is hella boring. Shooting plates on the run at various distances is a way more fun way to use this awesome rifle.

If I want to print groups I grab my Cadex. But that gets old quick and I just start shooting steel...lol...

I'm not that great, I usually get under 3 inches yes. I can get groups closer to 2 inches with expensive brass ammo. My one buddy can hit under 2 regularly. I believe I can improve with this trigger mod (I can't stand the trigger). Hopefully I don't scrap my rifle doing what Strel did *fingers crossed.

Do you have a CSA or CZ if u don't mind me asking? What kind of ammo do u usually shoot? Yes, I agree printing groups is boring; I just use it as a monthly gauge to see if I'm doing better with my gear.

I have a CZ858 ( the ones the RCMP seized the first time, lol. ), shoot nothing but DA non corrosive as its just my fun plinking gun.

"Many words have alternate spellings in British#or#American English. The verb#apologize#is one such word—outside of North America, the word is commonly (but not always) spelled with an S replacing the Z, to form#apologise."
There is a big world outside US and Canada. Maybe you should get out of your basement more often.
Cheers
