VZ58 with AK buttstock

I'll also mention that there's a chance that AKM flashider of urs may over compensate to the point u hate it. The way I got around this is by drilling a large hole on the bottom of it. This made it barable to shoot, but regardless I ditched it soon after because it caused the point of impact to be annoyingly high.

I was not aware the bolt fixing the vz58 wood stock to the receiver is a hollow bolt.
I am well aware ak and vz58 stocks having holes

on this image, this stock screw is labelled as #40.. and surprisingly it is not made of a whole piece of metal... it is essentially a tube, f.. empty inside... if you drop it, the piece, which kind of closes the front end, gets detached and the "screw" becomes a threaded tube, which suckz. but that's economically viable, I guess, to manufacture it that way

the beauty of this mod is that the top hole of the ak74 stock aligns almost perfectly with the vz58 orifice dedicated for its original wooden stock
and, of course, now you may carry your cleaning kit in the stock

old school wooden stock classics.. missing AKmoid SKS mod, Mosin sniper... true SVT sniper, Valmet in 7.62x39... and even then it will always miss AKs....which we cannot get coz of political and economical reasons

I doubt the AK stock on the bottom VZ works. My guess would be the cheek weld is so high, u cant even use the irons.

I dont know why people think this, or how they hold the gun to come to this conclusion. I have zhukov stocks on my vz58s mounted straight in line and as long as I hold it in a squared modern stance I can use the irons just fine. I actually find it to be faster.

Oh u know.... Just talking from direct experience having spent hours playing around with various stock shapes, angles and cheek weld heights in my shop before embarking on carving out my own AK stock..... Which in order to maintain the AK look as much as possible, I made the comb about as high and straight as possible. Even to this day, most people who shoot my VZ using its irons comment on how high the comb is and how they really have to press their face into the stock to comfortably view the irons. And the VZ in the picture definitely appears to have a higher comb than mine.

Finally, got time to more or less finish VZ58 in AK skin project.
Still have to change the knife handle to wood from barf, otherwise, here we go:
