vz58 with loose front sight

Hey guys,
I was shooting my vz the other day, it was shooting far to the left by 6 - 8 inches. I noticed the front sight was loose, the part that fastens it to the barrel.
I tried to adjust one way but no good.
Can this be repaired and how? What other options are there with iron sights? Who has a good scope mount? Apparently Marstar is sold out of my vz sights. Did a search but asking for input with this issue.

are you saying the entire front sight assembly is loose on the barrel ? are the pins still in?

Thanks for the help, pins are in place with the lock nut tight and spring loaded pin sits in the grove of the nut, the entire bracket can move apprx 1/8 inch. I am going to order a mount from Marstar. Is a red dot any good beyond a 100 yards? AGE

My aimpoint micro does head shots at 200 , 1/4 " groups at 100. It all depends on the dot size . Most red dots are way to big for any long range accuracy. 2 m o a dot size is the largest usable one - after that they are only good for speed - pistols and shotguns or cqb ass. rifle only. The eotech has the smallest dot.
Any inverted v illuminated reticle is even better for precision.
