Vz58 wood furniture buttstock problem

HI, so I bought a VZ58 that has the M4 telescoping stock and im trying to put real wood furniture on it and there is no way to put the buttstock on where the buffer tube unthreads?? im sorry if this has been asked I cant find it. what am I doing wrong, do I need another a part??
