hi john, i called to place an order (11am PST) for the above and was told that marstar are not taking order for the said rifles cos it may cos problem if they are not what customer expect , he didnt even want my credit card number .... what the heck is that? new policy?

I called at about 10:00 EST and they took my name and number and put me on the "list" for a shorty. They told me I would probally get a call in a few months.

This is NOT new policy, Marstar never has, never will, accept orders for goods that are not either in the warehouse or on the way in.

We will not take orders before these new toys until they are fully illustrated and fully described on our site....

ALL this because of our warranty policy, we don't want to have returns because the "barrel is too long" "wrong tint of bluing" "furniture is the wrong material" etc, etc....

PLEASE have a little patience, Marstar always delivers....

thanks john for the clarification ... i misunderstood other members post when they said

i spoke to keith first and he wasnt very clear but i since then spoke to frank and he explained that there is no order list for the rifles but a list for a call back so i placed my name on the list with him for a call back ... a call back is hardly called securing one.:D

and now shorty...will...be..here..must.....hold....myself....not.....to buy........must...hold......myself....

So now I feel dumb, I was too exited about the new Guns and just started dialing, didn't even look at the webpage.

Got thru today with no issues, I was told it would be about 6 weeks or so until they come in. They said just keep checking the webpage, once the rifles are on there they will take orders.

Just received word from the factory that our shipment just returned from the proof house, ready now to come to Canada.
Should have all the new models here in about 2-3 weeks.
